Socializing our puppies is a critical part of their development into confident, adaptable adult dogs, but opportunities for structured experiences can be limited. Limerick Hill Canines has developed 3 unique classes specifically designed for your growing canine.
Puppy Play & Learn is geared toward your soft and sweet young puppies, between 8-17 weeks old.
Adolescent Social Hour is for existing clients who have already participated in younger puppy sessions and are starting to look like adult dogs, but still act like puppies, 6-12 months.
All classes are a mixture of socialization, playtime, and training, helping you and your dog find the right balance in a group setting.
Owner participation is required during all levels of Puppy Socialization sessions and at least one adult household member must be present.
Puppies should have at least 1 round of age appropriate vaccinations administered a minimum of 1 week before first session for Play & Learn. Adolescent dogs should be up to date on all core vaccines. Bordetella vaccine strongly recommended. Proof of vaccinations required!
Puppies must be free from coughing, vomiting, or stomach upset for 24 hours before session.

Limerick Hill Canines is teaming up with Barnes Lake Veterinary Center to provide you and your growing pup a safe, clean environment to practice their social skills while also learning to love the Vet’s Office! These 45-60 minute Play and Learn Puppy Sessions will focus on building appropriate social interactions between dogs and positive feelings about the vet’s office. The people learn how to help support their puppies through a variety of situations using positive reinforcement techniques.
Puppies must be between 8-17 weeks at time of session.
$20/session last Wednesday of the month, 6pm at Barnes Lake Veterinary Center in North Huntingdon, PA

Adolescence can be tough for all of us and the same is true for our puppies. They begin looking like adult dogs, but lack the experience and brain development of true, full-gown canines. Continued socialization throughout adolescence is important for our dogs and Limerick Hill Canines is excited to offer our existing clients this opportunity.
During our Adolescent Socials, you’ll learn about appropriate dog-to-dog interactions while we help your dogs learn to navigate social situations with a variety of other dogs.
Like all teenagers, adolescent dogs can be high-spirited and exuberant. Because of the increased dynamics of these juvenile gatherings, Adolescent Social Hour registrations are kept to a more limited number. These small group sessions allow us to give each of your dogs the attention they deserve during this critical stage in their development.
Puppies must be between 6-12 months at time of session.
Adolescent Social Hour sessions are held at Limerick Hill Canines in Herminie and the fee is $30/session.
